Hello everybody,
I am selected for this year's Korea Allimi program, too! After being an Allimi for a year, I was excited to apply for the upcoming year, too, and luckily, I was selected.
The program is under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and each year they choose lots of foreigners who live in Korea from different countries.
The Public Diplomacy Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea (MOFA announced the recruitment of the 4th Korea Allimi (대한민국 알리미) as part of the UNBOXING KOREA program and of course, there were so many applications! This program aims to engage with foreign residents in Korea and promote a better understanding of the country. The selected candidates will have the opportunity to share diverse and comprehensive information about Korea with the world. Through our personal social media platforms, we will be encouraged to create and promote content on various topics such as Korea's policies, systems, and culture, drawing from our own experiences and expertise.

Like last year, we received a perfect welcoming package from the program, including a laptop case, Kakao Friends desk fan, etc. The program's aim is to make international people know more about Korea's culture, history, and tourism.
With the contents I created last year, I tried to show you different parts of the Korean culture and history and I am pretty sure this year will be filled with more exciting and fun content.
Those who are curious about the applications to the Korea Allimi program accept new applicants each year around April so if you follow my Instagram page, you can easily learn when to apply as I share the application links when it is open.
